Job Overview: We are currently seeking a highly organized and experienced Fleet Operations Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our fleet, ensuring that all vehicles are maintained, and deliveries are completed on schedule. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fleet management, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing a team. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and supervise a team of drivers and mechanics, ensuring that all operations are carried out efficiently and effectively. - Develop and implement fleet maintenance schedules to ensure that all vehicles are in good working condition at all times. - Monitor and analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. - Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles to ensure timely delivery of goods to clients. - Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to fleet operations. - Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and fuel consumption. - Collaborate with other departments to optimize fleet operations and address any issues that may arise. - Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to ensure continuous improvement. - Develop and implement training programs for drivers and mechanics to improve their skills and knowledge. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet management, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry. - Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Knowledge of fleet maintenance and repair procedures. - Proficient in using fleet management software. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. - Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to fleet operations. - Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
