Position: Purchasing Specialist

Job Description:

The purchasing specialist will be responsible for managing the procurement process for the company.

This includes doing the required procedures with all stakeholders, internal and external, negotiating contracts and prices, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet the company's needs and objectives

- Identify potential suppliers and conduct thorough evaluations to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness

- Negotiate contracts and prices with suppliers to achieve the best terms and conditions for the company

- Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure timely delivery of goods and services

- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address purchasing needs and issues

- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels

- Analyze market trends and keep up-to-date with industry developments to identify potential opportunities for cost savings

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as legal and ethical standards

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain

- Monitor supplier performance and take corrective actions when necessary

- Continuously seek ways to improve the purchasing process and streamline operations

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the food and beverage industry

- Good knowledge of supply chain management and procurement processes

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Attention to detail and ability to multitask

- Familiarity with legal and ethical standards for procurement
