Job Description:
A professional driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of goods, spare parts, and materials.
Transportation & Delivery
- Routing & Logistics: Plan and execute efficient delivery or travel routes to ensure timely arrivals and departures, optimizing for traffic and time constraints.
- Loading & Unloading (If Applicable): Safely load, secure, and unload materials or goods, ensuring all items are accounted for and protected from damage during transit.
- Adherence to Schedule: Maintain strict punctuality for all assigned trips, deliveries, and pickups, communicating any unforeseen delays to the supervisor immediately.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all trips, mileage logs, fuel consumption, delivery receipts, and vehicle maintenance schedules.
- Cleanliness: Ensure the assigned vehicle is kept clean, tidy, and presentable at all times, reflecting the professional standards of the company.
Compliance & Professionalism
- Safety Compliance: Operate the vehicle in strict accordance with all local, national, and international traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Documentation: Ensure all necessary vehicle documentation (license, registration, insurance, permits) is valid and present in the vehicle at all times.
- Professional Conduct: Maintain a high level of professionalism, discretion, and courtesy when interacting with passengers, clients, staff, and the public.
